ABOUT US: Human sex trafficking, exploitation and sexual abuse has seen a marked increase in the United States. Sex trafficking is happening within middle class suburbia. Those in the industry of rescue and rehabilitation are seeing an increase of sexual abuse, child on child sexual assault, and trafficking activities right in the heart of middle-America. The problem is here and the problem is not going away.

WHAT WE DO: Hope Rising is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and restoration of minors rescued from human sex trafficking. We provide a specialized trauma-informed continuum of care from rescue and emergency assessment and long term specialized foster care to transitional living and continued support after a child turns 18.

WHO WE SERVE: We serve children who have suffered sexual trauma and/or exploitation and specialize in helping survivors of human sex trafficking.

OUR MISSION: Our mission is to provide long-term care and recovery for minor children who have been rescued from human sex trafficking and exploitation. Hope Rising is committed to instilling hope, offering a future to these minors, and fostering wholeness and healing.

LONG TERM COMMITMENT: Hope Rising believes strongly in long-term, committed relationships being key to the success of the minors they work with. Foster families are a significant piece of the puzzle, therefore Hope Rising invests heavily in the training and ongoing support of their foster care network.

TEACHING, TRAINING AND EQUIPPING: Education and awareness are key to preventing human sex trafficking. Hope Rising provides certification training to foster parents, caregivers, law enforcement, bio-parents and mentors ensuring that all will have the tools needed to address the child’s trauma and achieve lasting results.

Rachel Bollinger grew up in Rockville, Maryland as part of a close-knit community of believers.  Rachel was baptized in a lake at age 12, during her church’s annual Bible camp in Iowa.  Rachel met her husband, Anthony, in California while attending the University of Southern California (USC), where she received a Bachelor of Music Performance in Vocal Arts.  Rachel continued at USC for an additional year studying conducting and choral music. Rachel and Anthony live in Georgetown, Texas with their three children: Michaela, Noah and Reagan. Their family is involved in taekwondo, boy scouts, community service, remodeling projects and one of Rachel’s favorite activities, making music together.  As a certified project manager, software technical lead and musician, Rachel is blessed to use both sides of her brain daily.

With the support of her family, Rachel released her first EP, Worship Season, in 2017.  Rachel is called by God and anointed to equip, encourage and lead people through worship to recognize, acknowledge, and respond to His presence.  Rachel defines worship as a way of living with God at the center of your thoughts, words and actions, and through “singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Eph.5:19).  Every season is Worship Season. Rachel desires to impart this ideal to those who have a close relationship with the Lord and those who have yet to be introduced to Him.
